Beautiful old nightgown dating from around 1830. The fabric is a beautiful medium weight rustic linen with nice irregularities in the weave and an ecru color. This antique nightgown is beautifully crafted with a v-neckline, pleats and short sleeves. It is hand-embroidered with a faded red MC monogram. This nightgown has parts added and sewn by hand which gives it a unique artisanal look! The textile is in good condition, rare for its age. These linen nightgowns make perfect summer and winter dresses, to wear belted or loose.
