Here is a magnificent Empire style bedspread dating from 1930.
The textile is a brocade with a beautiful pattern inspired by the Empire style: a mix of stripes and floral motifs, in peach and pale green tones on an off-white background. A very beautiful floral decoration. Nice medium weight fabric
The bedspread is designed for a single bed, it is adorned with ruffles which covers the bed to the ground, a straight part is longer than the other and a part is round to cover the head of the bed, see the photos !
Lovely in a child's room or as a sofa throw.
Good condition, I did not notice any discoloration due to the sun.
This bedspread is washed and ready to use.
