Magnificent trousseau tablecloth from the 1930s. The fabric is a gorgeous damask linen, soft mid weight with a white color and lovely drape.
The tablecloth is embroidered with a classic Art Deco double MJI monogram facing each other. There are large edgings framing the entire textile in the damask pattern. The shape of this tablecloth is rectangular with a good length to cover a large table.
Good condition with some minor touch ups, reflected in the price. Ideal for a festive table, or to use on Sunday lunch with the family!
