Bonjour, welcome to Les Toiles Blanches! here is a beautiful Art Deco set of tablecloth and napkins that dates c1930. The fabric is a pure linen fil fabric light as a breath with sweet tones of pale almond green. The set has a gorgeous work of embroideries and pulled thread work. The tablecloth and the napkins are hand embroidered with a large white GP monogram that contrasts nicely on the pale green ground. The tablecloth has stunning openworks of different kind and is embroidered in its center by four series of application, paler green and white linen patches that frame the center of the tablecloth. This vintage textile has a square shape, like thz small napkins, this set being a tea tablecloth or a coffe table tablecloth. A really charming set in a fine condition ! This Art Deco set had 11 matching napkins. I have freshly laundered and pressed the tablecloth and the napkins, they are ready to use!
