Bonjour, welcome to Les Toiles Blanches!
here is a stunning Art Deco set of tablecloth and napkins that dates c1930.
The fabric is a fine medium weight cotton fabric with a nice indigo dyed tone that let appear the traditional stripes on the cloths.
The set comes from the South West of France, le Pays Basque were those cloths were traditionally woven, cream or white ground with primary colors, blue, red or yellow stripes.
There is a beautiful large TG monogram, hand embroidered in the center of the tablecloth and on the 12 napkins.
Very elegant and refined!
The tablecloth has a rectangular shape that will fit any medium table.
This Art Deco set is complete with its 12 matching napkins.
The condition of this early 20th century tablecloth is fine, freshly laundered and pressed, ready to use!
Ideal for a special table, or to use on Sunday family lunches!
