here is a pair of gorgeous antique damask cotton panels that dates end of the 19th century. The decor is made of beautiful golden medium scale roses and foliage on a cramoisi red ground. The damask shows beautiful reflects in the tone and decor. The panels are backed with a brown satin cotton of light weight. The panels are trimmed on a side by some braid and pompoms. There is one hand stitch tiny link on a side, these panels must have been used for something as a canopy! Gorgeous and heavy fabric, these antique panels would be perfect for any upholstery work!
