Magnificent old apron which dates from the beginning of the 19th century.
The fabric is a delicate linen thread, woven by hand with an LM monogram in top left of the apron, hand-embroidered in red cross stitch.
These textiles were traditionally sewn by nuns with gathers and large ties to tie the apron around the waist.
He is of medium weight with a nice fall.
This model is very long like a petticoat!
The apron is in good condition, with a few nice retouchings and small rust spots, good condition nonetheless, rare for its age!
